Amaimon finds Rin and wants to fight with him again in Ao no Exorcist Episode 16, as he thinks that he should be stronger than Rin. However, he is killed by Rin. After knowing that Rin is Satan's son, Miwa is afraid of him. What is more, Rin owns the same ability which is to release blue fire with Satan, and Miwa's parents were killed by Satan with this ability.
In order to be the real exorcist, Rin has to accept the special training. If he does not pass this test, he will be killed; as everyone knows that he is Satan's son, and now he is just used to fight with Satan. He has to control the blue fire well, or he will fail. Izumo tells him that if he loses his fear, he may control it well, which really helps him.
